Not the best game KDR wise, but a very fun game to play. Me and uztadz vs the world. Also coincidentally against 2 of the OhMy's that I manhandled the other day Smile

Nice! Prokills are definitely getting harder with the new level restrictions. I managed my first one in about two weeks yesterday.

I'm having fun on OSM. A pretty challenging opponent. Neither of us reached our max kills, time ran out.

Total EXP: 38K
Total CR: 47K

OSM and EVAC are my favorite maps. Then interchange. Very Happy

I like OSM. But if you snipe then lighthouse is pretty easy.

I don't have any screenshots for you guys, but since the level bracket rebalancing, it is very rare for me to get over 60 kills in a OSM TE match. For those of you who like a challenge, Contract Wars at end game is much more difficult now.

level bracketing
DM progression: 0-70; 20-70; 40-70; 45-70 (current)
TE progression: 30-70; 40-70; 45-70 (current)

comments on youtube were saying things like:

"Kine you will not be able to prokill anymore in latest changes to server brackets. No more noobs" etc ..

Wondering if true. Has it gotten more challenging ? Or is it just the bad respawn mechanic / team stacking shit still going on ?

Stacking is still there. Spawn mechanic is the same. But the servers are much more difficult now because you force all the high levels into one map. Since you force the high levels into one map, you get them on both sides, so it's much more common now to see an even match than it was when you played. I'm not saying stacks aren't there, I'm just saying that they are less frequent, or rather, easier to break up because you have a constant stream of high levels checking the servers for openings (there are fewer OSM/TE servers now, been converted to HC by demand).

An example of how much more difficult these servers have become. For a recent gold contract, I had to do a Saiga 12k Prokill. Not too big of a deal, but I ended up spending 14 in-game hours trying for that contract with the SW stealth hunter combo. The closest I came was two 19 kill streaks, but I was never able to get it. Rarely did I go over 15 kills. I tried every map, game mode, no luck. I finally got fed up with it and skipped it for 1000 GP ($10, yeh ik...). Back in the 0-70 days, or even the 30-70 TE games, it would have been done in less than an hour.

So what i'm saying, is it's harder. Prokill every match? Every other match? Not happening. I'm lucky if I get a pro one every ten matches. Assuming i'm not starting the stack on an empty server. Try a prokill video with a low tiered weapon and you're going to be hurtin' for streaks on OSM and Evac. Interchange is about the same difficulty as it was before (cover). My regular prokill farming map, parkside, is like 1v8 level 60+s. DM might still have the 20-70 servers (added back today), but because they're the only low level servers for high levels to farm, you end up with all the slots filled with level 63+s. I've managed three prokills in probably thirty parkside matches since the level boost.

The game has slowed down on OSM TE, way less rushing. People have noticed I've changed my play style ("We want the old rushing Wakom back" from the OhMy guys). I camp a lot more (they're calling me you, kine..lol), kills are down every match. Where I use to get 70+ kills a match, 70 is now the higher end of my average. Another thing to note, is that the lower levels have gotten smarter. I'm guessing they're fed up with getting spawn killed, so they stick to their lower bracket servers (as they should). This has increased the number of high levels within their respective servers, so the difficulty of the game has increased. ChaosVelocity, one of our new recruits (he's pretty good), joined Boss and I for a match. He was shocked how badly he did (8-XX something). Was an eye opening moment, to say the least.

So to answer the Youtube cries, they're fairly accurate. Prokills are way down, you don't see people prokilling every match. But will you not be able to prokill? Nah, you'll still be able to, but you're going to have to work for that video content.

P2W is also down. Damage rental has been completely removed, so house bear/usec killer. The only way to get those is through roulette. Penetration rental and headshot protection are still available, but at a significantly increased price (1000 GP/ 15 days). This means you have way fewer renters, more Gunsmith builds (though incorrectly assumed that damage>penetration assault), overall the game play feels "fairer". Yes, you still have your renters, though I could probably name only ten of them who rent on a routine basis.

Shooting CW once a day since last weekend. That's my best game so far hahaha. Trying to rewire my reflexes on the fact that some players need more than 5 bullets to kill while others like myself die in 2. Keep letting go of the trigger too soon getting me killed that way.

People habitually leave games mid match. Something that rarely happens in CSGO / Insurgency. I wonder why the RQ is real here.

Odd, I find getting prokills easier now. Got 2 in the ~5 games I played today and yesterday.
Also, ~80% of my deaths are nade/shotgun deaths. So frustrating...

Because in CSGO there is gift at the end of the game. that's all, and maybe CSGO's community is much better than Cw's one.

Maybe it's because when you're losing in cw you die ~2 seconds after spawning.
And with my playstyle, it's pretty difficult to get prokills
