sigh Boty ....
I'm using shadowplay. It comes with the driver but not sure if it will work on a non kepler GPU (series 700 cards). Give it a shot tho.

Re: CREED Contract Wars Videos
ok ... a couple of things I wanted to comment from yesterday's raidcall conversation.
1. "essentially, you need to bash noobs for easy prokills"
2. M4 rifle is good enough and/or better than 9A91
Woke up. Went to Evac armed with my FSB. Looked for a balanced match and recorded this prokill just for Creed.
Essentially a 2 vs 2
2 P90 tanks versus me and my own tank. The nubs running around were there to feed us kills. Don't have grenade or a kickass mortar anymore so I waited for 1000 HP to get the job done.
1. "essentially, you need to bash noobs for easy prokills"
- Spoiler:
- - I am a carebear. Bashing nubs is bad. It hurts the game. If casuals and beginners are regularly farmed, they will not continue to play the game and server population will eventually drop.
- We are Creed. We operate on a code of honour. A virtuous gamer will not bully those weaker than him. We punch above our weight category and pwn higher level players. Atleast that is my belief and I carry that belief in any multiplayer game I play. I don't back down against stronger teams. I don't stack against weaker ones. We are the few clans in BeGone who even up teams on servers we play. It shouldn't be any different in Contract Wars.
It isn't the level of players. Each one of us are accepted into the clan because we have a certain minimum level of skill. That minimum more than makes up for the level difference between you vs any random CW player. What matters in a prokill is the balance of power. No one team should be decisively stronger than the other. As long as both teams are even, a prokill is doable. Don't bash nubs to get it.
2. M4 rifle is good enough and/or better than 9A91
- Spoiler:
- - There is a reason why Devs gave these 2 guns different w-task, specifically the 9A91 having the harder task .. 50 trips. After tasking it there is no other Credit rifle better than the 9A91 FSB. You have to start paying for GP rifles to shoot alternatives past that point. Mod.3 for longer range performance. ACR for better close range near perfect hip fire. Noveske for lazer like silenced full auto. AEK for 4x optics. IAR and DEVGRU for Farming. AKMS for double tapping Tanks.
- M4 effectiveness drops as you move higher up the server. Granted, SpecOps M4 is much better than stock 9A91 but trust me when I say it is not in the same league as a tasked FSB and the rest of the other GP guns. You have access to both the 9A91 and noob capped servers at lvl.40. If I have the chance to do things all over again I would put all my time and effort to get those 50 trips.
M4 cannot out shoot an Armour Tanked P90 DEVGRU.
That's the 9A91 FSB's job.
M4 needs several attempts to take out high level players from range.
FSB does it in one 3 shot burst.

Re: CREED Contract Wars Videos
I make it a point to join in on the wrong end of a farm session about twice a day. Playing against a full team of high level players with only nubs on your side shapes you into a better player. It reinforces good habits so even when I zone out while mindlessly grinding matches I still play shrewdly. It also allows me to test both killing and staying alive tactics. What works against pro players will definitely work against regular ones. But another more curious benefit from this is it hones my hunting instincts. Useful for finishing off prokills and as the video will demonstrate, the right to 'own' a server.
See, chivalry exists among high level regulars in Contract Wars. Time is precious in this game. We don't want to waste our time 'working' our contracts/guns/skills in pointless matches. We want results. And quite often I see this unwritten understanding being honoured between players.
Today's session I went on a noob vs noob server where a 1337 player was farming XP. I felt I could still get triples for my MP7 coz we each have 4 newbies to feed on. Made a point to stay out of his way and kept to my side of respawns suiciding his bots. Dunno wtf I did to piss him off coz after a few minutes into the game he began ambushing me.
Play Evac long enough and you can just tell where the other guy is gonna be if he wanted triples. And he knew I was going for those triple kills coz hey, I'm running around toting a stock MP7. He started to tail his line of meatshields and just as I popped out round the corner he'd insta-kill me with the P90 DEVGRU. 3 ambushes later, I got pissed and felt this needs closure. Pulled out my P90 PRC and hunted him down. After 5 deaths in a row by me including a triple on the 5th, he conceded the server and left.
Not in chronolgical order and definitely not a single game lol. Edited and shuffled several matches around to make watching the video nicer. P90 hunt happened first but I put it in the second half in the video.

Re: CREED Contract Wars Videos
I spend half my time lurking youtube watching gameplay videos. Not all of them were awesome monster fragmovies either. I'd watch anything as long as they were POV videos that I can use to observer other player's habits, mindset etc. Ones commentating their thought process as they walk through the footage is my favourite but some do lie or gloss over the actual gameplay. But I still enjoy watching them.
Wished more of Creed would upload theirs. It's nice to see how my clan mates operate. While we do develop rapport by playing together but most things you can only assume about the other person coz you're too busy working your own side of the map. Sharing videos is a decent supplement to playing together.
Like NoBoty for eg.. I've developed some idea of how to play with him via watching his POV eventhough we haven't played a game together yet. And with CW's level restrictions etc. that helps.

I'll post a video tonight of my sr3m gameplay. Btw, kine, I'd like you to hear the sr3m. I'm pretty sure it is silent at long range but I need someone to confirm it for me.

Re: CREED Contract Wars Videos
I can hear it now, but detection range is very close. It has stealth even on Evac. I believe it is the distance between Helipad barrels to Ruins window. Any further and you cannot hear it.
Re: CREED Contract Wars Videos
raw file ... some funny stuff at the end but you only need to watch the first few to hear your SR3M ... anyway
hard to detect range and direction but I can hear it all over OSM.
but any sound will drown it out, even reloading.
Re: CREED Contract Wars Videos
Needed this after getting my ass handed to me by ssnc's 63+ guys. recoil, Pownod, mikestk and another 65 level (still ended on top of my 59/60 team)
but anywayz. prokill nr 4. in 2 minutes and 22 secconds with full health and ammo left.
sure it was a 10-40 server...... Bite me!!! . Get them while you can, i say.
I was most impressed by my first quad kill with the DT SRS

Re: CREED Contract Wars Videos
Not the best I can do with the Kedr and it is a noob bash. Didn't have the time to warm up properly and fight a good fight. Simply loaded up the Kedr and recorded
Gun is not as bad as you'd think. I've come across a couple of good players who can insta-kill with Kedr. Prompted me to try it out myself a few times when I got bored tasking. Once I got a feel for the burst shots and hip fire + range, I could score on Evac like I normally do with other rifles. Don't feel like I have a handicap using this gun any more even against top players. Its' short effective range is the only reason why I don't use it often.
Can complete 150 kills in 4 matches or less.

Re: CREED Contract Wars Videos
Prokill in 2 minutes flat. Unplanned.
Tasking AKMS on Evac. ToiletSeat joined in, rampaging the map with his Mod.3
A few on the other team didn't like it and war of end-game guns soon broke out. I kept out of it and continued tasking my tier 1 rifle. Yet inexplicably, some dude decided to hunt me down repeatedly. I looked at the video a few times over, he was indeed hunting me down. Well ... you don't hunt the hunter. Kine no like.

Re: CREED Contract Wars Videos
Made this one in response to a challenge someone left on my channel.
Personally a challenging exercise
Short effective range means you'd need to unload an entire mag to kill someone anywhere further than point blank range. Having only 12 bullets per kill to work with, I had to stay uncomfortably close to each kill throughout the killstreak. Not the ideal when your goal is trying to stay alive. Over two dozen 15-19 killstreaks before I got that prokill and learnt a bunch of new things in the process. Glad I made the effort.
Andrew Stevens wrote:Rather than getting pro kills with all OP weapons, you should try making pros with under used weapons like the MP5. Or is that too hard for you?

That poor and unsatisfied Andrew, how little does he know. I say post that knife only prokill and get it over with Kine.
I loved the end of that video. you literally kneel down and i swear i heard the words "my job is done"

Kine is a professional doing Prokills. I think he could do a prokill with all the weapons of CW.

a pro prokiller ? omgosh
but srsly, there is nothing I do that cannot be done by any other Creedling. Watch the videos, there's nothing magical in there ... only headshots and patient risk management.
Re: CREED Contract Wars Videos
On that note, another noob gun prokill. KAC PDW this time
Huge thanks to Third for his 'tutorial' video on Parkside. Saved me maybe a couple weeks worth of learning the map. A few things about parkside:
1. It's mostly uncapped 0-70 servers. Check this shit out ...
2. Simple straightforward gameplay. You hold your corner of the map defending against 2 directions, left and right. Since it is unlikely 2 people will rush together towards you on the same lane you end up fighting 1v1 on each direction. Simple and fair. Only problem is if 2 guys come at you from both directions at the same time which normally happens when:
3. People decide to focus on you. Go on a long enough killstreak, people will inevitably get pissed and would want to end your run. That is the only thing I need to work out. Once sorted I think I can grind this map like a boss lol.
4. Even if there is another pro player on the map, they seem to stick to the same modus operandi as Thirds. Holding their own corner of the map. Stay out of his way on the opposite side of the map and the both of us can farm prokills. Brilliant. Problem starts when there are more than 2 of you prokillers, then it gets messy.
Love this map.

Re: CREED Contract Wars Videos
KAC PDW is a gun I would NOT consider a noob weapon. Just one that happened to be placed in T1. I like to call it my mini noveske.
GL with Glock18 prokills Took me a day or two, but it makes the gun actually usable for end life evac.

Re: CREED Contract Wars Videos
question:
1. when do I relocate? or do I even ?
2. How do you handle it when being focused on ?
3. Apart from the high ground on that vid, are there any other good spawn spots to play at ?
