I tnink it's in the reading and understanding the game/oponents/teammates insread of begonestyle battling

Reminds me of the Vanu faction on my Planetside 2 server. I don't know how to phrase it... they don't care about playing, they care about winning. (?) They always bring 3 times the number of troops, tanks, and planes as their opponent. The result is they win the territories without really fighting. They're winning, but not really playing in the spirit of the game.

It's like watching this guy play. He's not really getting in there and scrapping. He's mostly avoiding engagements and only engaging when he can win against weak enemies. He cares more about farming easy kills. I mean, that's a viable strategy, but is it really skill? Is it really being a "good player"? I think it's more cheesing frags and taking advantage of your teammates. I specifically avoid games where players play like this guy.

There are different roles on a team.

Different classes are capable of playing different roles depending on what tools / skills you decide to use. Which you can switch around while waiting to respawn after dying.

XP and Coins earned is tied to Match won or lost. That's it. You get nothing extra for finishing with most kills or what not. People don't complain about last hitting or killstealing in Nosgoth. In fact quite the opposite. If you chose to play roles that are good at killstealing and you failed to finish people off ~ your team will not be happy. The opposite is true, if you picked a support type whose job is to wear the enemy down from a safe distance and you died, your 'killstealers' will complain as well.

What makes playing against these guys so annoying is how unforgiving they are when you make mistakes. Even more annoying because they are also constantly pressuring you to make those mistakes. Even if I am playing my A-game and they recognize that, they'll switch focus and break other parts of my team while all I can do is watch them crumble. Feels almost like the world is against you as things collapse all around.

To watch and hear how people like him consciously and methodically work at picking your team apart, influencing where you go, what you can do etc helps me play better. Less random or by instinct and more method.

In football only one guy scores that touchdown. Is he cheesing frags or was that the culmination of a team effort ?

Disappointment for me in Nosgoth whenever I choose to go support is see my wide receiver fumbles after all the effort I've successfully made in setting him up. And the reverse is true as well. 'Killstealers' will get frustrated if people on his team cannot create openings for him to go in and convert.

I see your point. Like in Dota, tanks take the damage while the carries get the kills. I didn't realize Nosgoth was the same way.

Yes, it can be frustrating to support Azh at times. I know it well.

Getting better at aggressive fighting with the flying vampire. Normally I would only float back waiting for things to happen instead of making them.

Haven't had a good match like this in a long while. Out of the 48 enemy kills, they only got to me 3 times total while at the same time contributing 1/3rd of our own team kills.

I liek flying. Very relaxing.

At a level where I can start bashing noobs with the Sentinel. 14-1 scoreline only coz versus an uncoordinated Human team. Wouldn't get away doing what I did against good players but atleast I now know I can noobash.

When both sides are equally skilled flying gets really hard. Tough matches like this defines whether you're meant to play the Sentinel class or not. Been uploading videos of me lolstomping lately. Here's one where Kine flies under pressure. Epic finishing at the end.

Clan vs Kine.

First time I played one of these. When odds are stacked against me this way something inside Kine gets activated.

Only a couple of mistakes that I can see. Mainly due to losing focus when I realized it got easy. Apart from that everything was precise and with purpose. Forcing the issue, ending fights whenever a team-mate starts one.

Didn't recognize anyone on my team and we didn't synch well so I went and solo'd almost all my moves. Apart from that this was definitely a GG ending the match MVP with 44 assists, 19 kills and 10 deaths contributing most damage on team. Unfortunately recording software screwed up 2nd half of match including final scores but meh.

Versus clan is becoming a theme last couple of days. Here's another Clan vs Kine match.

Unlike the match uploaded above, this one I synch'd very well with the rest on my team. I think they actually played around me after they realized what I was doing with the Sentinel.

Everyone were experienced Nosgoth players so team wise it was a joy to play with them. No easy kills. No fail team mates. All team play and timing.

Raziel Warmonic.

Nosgoth's #1 Sentinel player at one point, prolly still is. This guy writes a guide on how to fly the Sentinel, it gets stickied on the forum. When Devs wanted to make a trailer, they asked him to fly the character. And for some frikkin reason, matchmaker decided to put me in one of his matches. My player rating prolly got too high lately after all the noob bashings.

Well the pressure was on. I wasn't going to give up leveling my Sentinel just because he was on the opposite team. This is probably my best performance to date in terms of technical play.
