It makes the gun a whole lot better. It's the only AR in the game that has a silencer and optics, so it does have it's place. Right now it's a pretty good OSM weapon, but i'm not going to say any more until I get +10 damage from gunsmith.

CW dev team is very good at balancing weapons AND making each feel unique.
CW dev team SUCKBALWS at gauging difficulty levels for both contracts and w-tasks
They are either super pro thinking near impossible feats as mundane or they don't actually play their own game.
Trips and killstreak tasks are the biggest culprits in imbalanced matches. They need to be removed.

There is a post floating around from Nqss that said that they decided that they would sell this gun cheaply, but make the task very, very difficult in order to make it worth using. So i suppose they did realize how difficult this task would be, if what he said is true.
Can you explain what you mean with the bolded statement? I'm not quite sure.

The God Gun
I just wanted to see what the best gun in the game, dps wise, would do with max stats. Everyone goes down like they aren't wearing any armor. And I KNOW that I was killing people with max armor.
It was pretty damn crazy. Only rented for a day.
I suggest everyone get the SR3M tasked for when we do a clan race. Rent the damage/pen for 5 days, and then wreck everyone. It's what i'm going to do.

People stack teams because that is the logical thing a human would do in order to get trips and prokills etc done.
Game mode, respawn mechanic and the goddamn level design don't work together. They undermine each other in-fact.
CW dev team do guns and shooting mechanics very well.
But fail horribly at the gameplay aspect.
It is a frustrating game to play.
Short of rethinking / recoding how the game is played, the highest impact lowest effort things they can do are:
1. remove trips and killstreaks from contracts + w-tasks
- it honestly serves no purpose and brings more negatives than a game designer could justify.
2. tweak respawns.
- simply taking away the 'spawn-next-to-live-teammate' rule would already improve gameplay by 200x
-- but it really does need a total overhaul
3. Hire a level designer who's got atleast a few AAA maps in his portfolio
- these guys are cheap to contract
-- CW maps are generally all show no flow powerpoint screenshots. they need to do better for a game that's actually making money. It's a vicious cycle. When you play on an imba map, you cannot even try to even teams out. that feeds on to people continually stacking teams.
Look at how Ghost Recon and Shadowgun do their maps and team game modes.
Game devs have to supply to demand. No one wants to play TDS. Maybe not even DM I would guess. TE is THE CW game mode. It is game mode of choice because of contracts / task and the fact that you get to quickly respawn to redo a failed attempt repetitively. Unfortunately - none of their maps are designed for it hence why you cannot find quality matches in TE CW.
Fixing-Rebalancing-Making new TE maps would be ideal but unlikely. Taking out Trips + killstreak contracts and tasks would be a poor alternative. But an alternative nonetheless.

Holy jesus those stats... too bad I don't use rentable skills haha. But yeah I agree with Third - everyone should try to task the SR3M. The Silent SR3M is amazing.
