VIVER - Rep Farm - PLAN B
We got this in a SINGLE round of interception.
https://i.imgur.com/8eDbLIN.jpg
Duet with his hacked Excalibur Prime did all the killing and scored double the rep.
Subsequently - Viver got nerfed. Dev moved B and C capture consoles further apart thus preventing a single well placed Excalibur from nuking the entire map. B is now beyond the doorway next to the down ramp. C is outside the large front main doors.
This is not a problem for Creed squad coz we do things differently from most other Plan A Viver squads.
We actually let the enemy take ONE cap point once we hold a comfortable lead on %. So 1 blue and 1 red cap on map. This means even with the new console placement, nothing much has changed except:
1. Frame composition
2. Holding location
Kine's combo =
1. Limbo
2. Vauban
3. Trinity
4. Excalibur
Limbo = banishes team thus we can hold out in exposed areas better, bonus to energy regen
Vauban = bounce and vortex area denial in that capture point we will later sacrifice
Trinity = Energy + Heal
Excal = Nuke the 3 cap points we want to keep.
Plan remains the same.
- Nuke early
- Take a point before they do
- Secure our holding area
- Run the mission
We only need to decide which point to give away B or C
Vauban will roam a little further to drop vortex / bounce on consoles we plan on sacrificing to delay the take. He can do this while banished so no risk of bleeding out. Limbo keeps an eye out on Vaub. Trinity powers Excal who will just spam 4 for the next 10 minutes.

So the 1352 was earned after the nerf? I like the way this looks on paper, has it been tested though?

Re: VIVER - Rep Farm - PLAN B
This was before - still waiting for a creed squad to launch viver post nerf
Total team kills before fix was 2,600 ++ that's the benchmark we wanna check against.
For me personally - interested to see if oxium = 20+
and if we can rank0 - 25 in one round.
These are the numbers we were getting before.
---
Distance between furthest points = 132 meters
max Radial Javelin radius = 58.8 meters
we are about 14m short to cover both points
https://i.imgur.com/XVsKtRI.jpg
----
Need 2 nukers on either side of A or D to cover all points. I think the range fix is to address squads using 2 banshees taking turns quaking D for easy win.

Re: VIVER - Rep Farm - PLAN B
So I tried Viver with pubs through Recruiting channel, and resulted in this:
Looks like Viver is still dang good, lol. This is my best record yet.

forgot i had turned UI off in screenshot. if i hadn't it would show me getting 4,400 rep from one round as trinity with near zero kills. Picked up exactly 20 oxium and no clue on XP gained as I went in with fully ranked gear.
Apart from repositioning of the cap points and consoles, everything else looks fine. You can in-fact control all 4 points by taking C and sniping into B since there isn't a door blocking your line of sight. Can't do it the other way around because of closed door into C.

I don't mind seeing a nerf because Viver really is something else compared to other maps or other content. Even so, players will just move on to the next most suitable spot; devs can never stop players from doing that, but yes Viver right now is just a whole other level.
Ways to fix it could include: include different map tiles for Viver, increase interval between enemy spawns, introduce new enemy type or something, idk. No matter what these all are, I can still see players finding a way around it.
Only way for DE is to change and polish the whole system so it is not tied to affinity or something.. Which is not going to be easy for them.

Yea, stupid DE nerfs my favorite frame just because of a node. As in no other frames would actually replace them.. now Excal and Mag are unfit for a lot of more challenging missions.

Re: VIVER - Rep Farm - PLAN B
* video taken doing regular interception - ignore scoreboard and randoms. they were trying to win the map not farm kills.
Alright back to business - here in Creed we adapt. No matter what the changes.
Once people are done QQ'ing over their frame nerfs and wasted 100p for Pendragon helmets they'll soon discover the biggest game changer in the recent nerf is actually the control points.
There are no longer Neutral points.
Rep = Kills = Time
The longer you can extend the round, the more kills you make, the more rep you get. Without neutral capture points - teams are being force fed % points thus ending the round early.
Video above demonstrates how you can game the capture system to keep points neutral.
--
New Viver combo is:
(Saryn + Trinity) x 2
With the Saryns babysitting B and C each maintaining the neutral state. Their chaperon Trinities float slightly behind to EV and protect the ONE point we keep.
We leave A island Red. Trinities look at and snipe into D upstairs. Make sure you EV targets in the middle that has line of sight to your Saryns.
A properly built Saryn can Miasma 4-6 times for 1 Vamped target depending on Trinity strength. That leaves alot of spare time for Trinities to do actual shooting instead of spamming 2,3,2,3,4,2,3,2,3,4
The stronger your Trinity power strength the more time you have to shoot stuff and pick targets. Max range is no longer required because we run double Trinity instead of a single mom nursing the entire team across the map. So max out power output.
