Payday 2 - CREED CREW SETUP
We have 2 very big advantages over random players in this game:
1. We can frequently play with the same 2-4 people almost everyday.
2. We are a clan. This allows us to plan our abilities and be ultra efficient when doing missions.
A fully matured level 100 character has a total of 120 skill points to spend.
There are 4 roles on the skill tree, each one containing atleast one unique ability at the top tier. These abilities make completing missions drastically easier. Different missions benefit from different abilities more but all abilities are useful in general.
MASTERMIND
All rounder support role that is useful in both stealth and assault. By useful, I mean game-changing useful.
ENFORCER
This class is needed when assaulting Overkill and Death Wish difficulty missions where you start meeting big bad special police units. He is not your dumb brute however. There are tactics associated with using him at low health. But his biggest contribution outside of shooting is the Portable Saw tool.
Watch
Bank heists potentially pays the most. Assuming you can open every single deposit box. That is what the saw is for.
TECHNICIAN
Tactical unit that is relevant on all mission types with a bunch of Mid Tier skills useful for other classes. He lacks a decent Top Tier ability but makes up for it with multiple kickass Mid Tier ones.
GHOST
Hard to justify having a ghost on your crew when simply looking at the skill tree. They seem more solo in nature. But bear in mind, difference in difficulty levels is mainly in the police units. The map for the most part stays the same without police in them. Having a Ghost who can stealth the missions for you at high difficulty settings = easy money and XP. And some stages in a bunch of missions is better done using stealth as well.
----
If we continue on to play Payday eventually ending up as high level players ... it'd be awkward to have 4 Enforcers in the same mission lol.
We can respec easily at the cost of in-game credits but would be worth the while to start discussing early no ?
Should we start picking our specializations ? Thoughts and ideas ?

- Spoiler:
Top Ability
He is able to revive downed team-mates simply by shouting at them FROM A DISTANCE
Mid Ability
A single Mastermind doctor is like having 4 random doctors on your team
Low Ability
Crowd control specialist. A mastermind can handle crowds that would otherwise need 3 randoms to manage singlehandedly.
ENFORCER
This class is needed when assaulting Overkill and Death Wish difficulty missions where you start meeting big bad special police units. He is not your dumb brute however. Watch
Bank heists potentially pays the most. Assuming you can open every single deposit box. That is what the saw is for.
- Spoiler:
Top Ability
Several skills combined makes Enforcer a one man army versus assault waves. Pair him up with a top tier Mastermind constantly reviving him ... you get the idea.
Mid Ability
Same as mastermind but with Ammo bags instead. Although he will be using all his ammo for himself usually.
Low Ability
Move loot bags faster, throw them further. Useful for any class. Everyone should hybrid his low tier 'Transporter' skill. Other than that you either specialize Enforcer or ignore his other skills.
TECHNICIAN
Tactical unit that is relevant on all mission types with a bunch of Mid Tier skills useful for other classes. He lacks a decent Top Tier ability but makes up for it with multiple kickass Mid Tier ones.
- Spoiler:
Top Ability
Extra C4, 2nd Sentry Gun
Mid Abilities
C4 - Upgraded Drill - Sentry Gun. After playing a variety of missions, you'll start to wonder how life would be much easier if you had all of these.
Low Ability
Bonus to weapon recoil, zoom and sniper rifle. Not essential unless you get the sniper DLC imo. Trip mines can be EXTREMELY useful in managing assault waves but is highly situational. Get it only if you intend on using them.
GHOST
Hard to justify having a ghost on your crew when simply looking at the skill tree. They seem more solo in nature. But bear in mind, difference in difficulty levels is mainly in the police units. - Spoiler:
Top Ability
Who needs to hunt managers down, search for key cards, sneak around cameras when can open up security rooms by hand. Crack safes faster without drills. ECM skills i'm not familiar with atm so ...
Mid Ability
Nothing much team related except the ability to mark Guards without having to put your mask on. Situationally useful.
Low Ability
Bonus to loot value. Should get this Aced.

nice overview.
Idk why but I think I will specialize on ghost. I thought about that right from the beginning. Another option for me could be Mastermind.

Re: Payday 2 - CREED CREW SETUP
Solo stealth uses a Ghost-Mastermind hybrid.
Which is what I've done / doing unknowingly.
Payday 2 Skill Calculator
Ghost > Lockpicking Expert
32 skill points
+
Mastermind > Dominator
14 skill points
These two will allow you to rob banks and jewelry store solo. You'll also end up getting the loot bonus, XP bonus and 5 cable ties along the way. At best, you can get those done at level 46. Susliks is level 30 after only playing 3 days for reference.
Personally I think this is a good route to take for a beginner stealth artist as it gives you XP and Cash bonus while learning the art of stealthing. Another 11 points and you could unlock upgraded Health bag or Convert police units or Sentry Gun. This way you aren't totally useless as part of an assault team.
But eventually you'd want to respec that build after going past a certain level and we begin farming 'Pro' missions like Framing Frame and Firestarter. ( Or Armoured Truck DLC Missions )

Re: Payday 2 - CREED CREW SETUP
@ Susliks - My Deathwish Golden AK
Takes out Bulldozers in about 20 bullets without aiming properly. Can solo dozer point blank if nozzle in his face.
Ammo is a problem when defending.
I waste a few extra rounds trying to kill rooftop snipers but otherwise the almost zero accuracy has no real penalty. Can still burst down a group of white helmets from a distance when crouching without reloading.
Cloakers die in 1-2 burst if I get a clean headshot.
Ammo is a problem.
* stats shown is wrong. I have a different build for stealth (20 concealment).
Stability stats above is also bugged (or capped). Actual mod value is +30 on top of base value. But it shows 24 for some reason. It should be 50+ actual. Meaning I can full auto a room full of baddies and score all headshots.
SCAR-H can get similar stats with better sniping numbers but I cannot bring it along on stealth jobs (9 concealment rating) hence the need for Golden AK. M4A1 is ok for stealth jobs but I'm fuked if things go loud at overkill and above thanks to 25 damage.
G36C and M-16 also decent assault rifles for higher difficulties.M16 is the better Golden AK with more ammo, about same damage. Only I dont have complete mods for it yet. G36C is the run and gun rifle. Weaker damage but pinpoint accuracy looking at the stats but I don't have it so dunno how it'll hold up on deathwish.
edit:
Modded M16 is 45 damage but wayyyyyy better accuracy and recoil. Same ammo count. Assuming identical concealment rating. To get Gold AK damage I need to drop concealment.

Thought about getting the 4-pack but it won't allow me to buy that since I already own a copy..

Will respec to Inspire Mastermind / Team Medic when I collect 6 Million.
Also - checkout my new bling bling woot woot. Coz u can totally stealth in gold.
Re: Payday 2 - CREED CREW SETUP
ok ... I am now the team doctor.
Respec'd from this awesome dont need no drill nor keycard Ghost
https://i.imgur.com/6ngFOgA.jpg
to a more team oriented Mastermind
https://i.imgur.com/G4Em736.jpg
I can revive myself on my own, revive others from a distance, upgraded med kit, and more effective Domination/Convert thanks to Enforcer bonuses. This build is focused on supporting high level players in overkill-deathwish difficulty missions at the expense of personal weapon perks.
Considering to hybrid into Enforcer with all future skill points to either get the portable saw -or- Fully Loaded skill and be self sufficient in terms of ammo while spamming the machinegun as support.
Early respec ahead of schedule thanks in part to today's amazing Firestarter Pro Job.
That's XP from a single mission .... most I've ever had to date.

Re: Payday 2 - CREED CREW SETUP
Going to respec one more time after contemplating my payday routine. Playing too often with randoms failing stealth and ending up going loud. Gonna need something more flexible while still be able to provide specialist skills when I do jump onto a premade crew.
Machinegun Technician lvl.73
This is also a decent all rounder starter build that gets you all the essential perks. You don't have any specialist skills in any of the classes but those can easily be built onto the base skills.
First Respec at level 36
So if you wanted to continue on with Machinegun Technician:
Next milestone is Technician Tier 4 Bonus ... +25% headshot damage
Ace Drill twice to get 30% drill speed with 30% chance auto restart
Ace the Sentry Gun and upgrade it once for 100% accuracy.
This will unlock the +25% damage bonus at level 50
Add +1 trip mine and upgrade explosion radius once to unlock C4 at level 63
Technician's top tier Bulletproof Skill by level 67, aced at 73.
--
Machinegun Technician start with efficient drills and amazing burst fire accuracy.
These are the two things you'll often be doing in payday. Drilling holes and shooting hoes.
This build relies heavily on calculated risks while gunfighting
You can take only Armour damage.
Once the white circle is depleted (your armour) you go back into cover and wait for it to recharge.
All other perks are centered around complementing this tactic ie.
Damage reduction as well as dodge chance with the option of using Sentry guns early on.
--
From this point on you can hybrid into other classes. Most naturally the Enforcer for ammo, health perks, portable saw and even more damage.
Or increase your independence as tactical gunner via Mastermind. Self revive, your own personal bot complementing sentry gun, 50% rifle accuracy when run and gun + able to reload while sprinting.
ECM keycard is a possibility if you do not want to feel like dead weight during the stealth phase of a mission. or ECM feedback which is a nice option, probably more effective than Sentry Guns when defending chokepoints or trying to escape. You get these going Ghost hybrid.

First Respec at level 36
- Spoiler:
45% XP gain
5% Damage on special enemies
80% Rifle Stability
10% Health
15% armour recharge speed
35% dodge chance, 60% while sprinting
-50% damage while interacting
25% Sprint and walk speed, 10% crouch speed
165% Stamina (65% for crew)
Aced Transporter (move 50% faster, throw farther with bags)
Able to use and ADS main weapon when downed
Mark Guards and Cameras without mask
-75% Fall damage
25% bag interaction
10% loot value

Re: Payday 2 - CREED CREW SETUP
Susliks is close to hitting 200 hours game time on Payday.
I just went over 100 hours recently
Ludens did 6 hours in 2 days
Both Ricky and NoBoty slowed down because I think Sus and I scared them away D:
But both have leveled up past newbie stage and can successfully complete missions on their own based on their achievements. Took the hint and when I finally got to give Ludens the guided tour, I made it a point to remember how it was like when I first discovered the game and took my time to enjoy the dramatic gunfights with him.
Thing about payday is, when you play long enough it is too easy to fall into the meta and game the missions for quick XP and cash. And almost all high levels play that way. They do missions to farm skill points and items often overlooking the fun things.
For example - a newbie might actually spend time to bunker down and fight his way out to freedom shouting over his mic to everyone to take cover. Don't die buddy we'll make it!!@! etc.
High level players would just drop a sentry gun, throw his grenade over the fence and walk across the street to end the mission because he knows certain parts of the game you can just ignore stuff to get things over and done with quickly for efficient XP farming.
I think that is where Sus and Kine is at right now. Doing missions efficiently versus Boty and Ricky playing the game for maximum enjoyment. Too easy to forget that. Will try to remember to play the fun parts more often next time Creed squads up together again.
