Re: Damage Profiles
Build Order
1. Raise base damage
2. Add elemental damage
3. Increase 'main' damage type
4. Crit or Status if applicable
5. Faction specific damage
* Crit vs Main Damage Type
- Crit gives more and should be priority if you can 'guarantee' a critical hit per normal burst.
- ie. you have a high enough % chance of it happening in a single burst fire.
- varies between weapon obviouslt - eg.
- 33% crit chance on an auto rifle is a guaranteed crit but almost meaningless on a sniper/bow
- anything over 75% on a single shot weapon is considered a guaranteed crit imo.
***
Not sure where to factor in Rate of Fire and Magazine size as its' effectiveness varies from weapon to weapon. You can apply basic math to figure it out.
Overall however - reducing reload times is not optimal given you have trade-offs to make.

Re: Damage Profiles
I only figured that one out yesterday when trying to save multiple loadouts on the same rifle.
