There's a slight "pay2win" aspect - you can pay to unlock heroes/mercs. You start out with loadout cards with 0 perks, and you can buy loadout cards with real money.

Not noticable at all though. The starting heroes you get are solid, and loadout cards are very easy to get and don't have a large impact on gameplay.

Ever come across this guy? He's a great PS2 player who switched over to DB.

Has DB improved their matchmaking? I mean, can we get Creed to play on the same server at the same time on the same team? The main thing holding me back from playing this game with Creed is that it was a nightmare to get us all together.

It works like BeGone, name a server, join server, pick team. Only issue is team balance ie you can't stack all 6 Creed on one side when the other only has 1 guy.

Alternative is to play competitive mode where you squad up and queue for a match like Doto.

My memory is that DB randomly assigns teammates each round so you can never predict who will be on your team.

If we could get a squad of Creed and queue that would be awesome. I would definitely be around every day for that. I miss playing with Creed as a team.

Yea it shuffles the teams around after each match. Although there aren't any details published anywhere I do suspect it isn't random as the game consistently splits up the better players into 2 opposing teams.

tbh clan play is intended to be done in 5v5 competitive mode which is as it should be to minimize pub stomps by organized groups. no post match shuffling since the squad is sent back to the queue lobby.

Played it only once. That and from watching youtube vids on comp mode, it looks tough as most people who play there knows what they are doing.

Best way to get better and dominate a game is by playing the best players.

You can. Click on the merc to reselect Merc / Card
