I believe any combination can be made to work. Got to agree on a cryo protection strategy before we go for the next run.

I'm thinking Vauban's Bastille at hotspots where enemies stop at to shoot the cryo. They don't do it randomly - there are certain places they do it from. These spots should be under Bastille 24-7 from wave 40 onwards.

Working on Amprex atm. Useful support gun with an almost guaranteed proc every shot. Arranging the mods is tricky however.

Top tier 1 Hour Endurance Survival

- Lotus drops new life support systems (oxy) at spawn points near you.
- If you are too far away (maybe) she will drop it at points closest to active ones.
- Holding a defensible hall is our general strategy.
- Locate a good location that contains oxy spawns and defend the entrances.

Benefits:

1. Enemies on one side, Friendlies on the other. Minimize chaos.
2. Corpses in a pile. Good for Nekros. Good for ammo. Energy and You.

Disadvantages: None

Roaming around the map like lunatics causes 2 bad things to happen

1. New oxy spawns all over the map
2. Nekros efficiency drops, less bonus oxy

How to tell you will fail Endurance:

When you are living off on one Oxy at a time, having less and less % remaining each activation.

Yes we designate responsibilities on team. Run random and odds of success is very much lower. When you go for endurance - tactics, coordination, planning, communication etc matters.

LOKI

- Has 3 things to do:
1. Activate Oxy
2. Disarm each batch of enemies coming in through those doors
3. Extract

This is the last 10 minutes of a 60 minute survival run in tower 4 Loki's POV.

There was a better display of ninja skills before this mission but my auto-recorder wasnt running. So sad coz that other guy - he did things my mama would never approve.

Anyways .. DSD .. zzZZ especially when Solo. This dude joined in mid-way and kept me entertained.

Been awhile since I uploaded anything in here.

Here's Insurgency - steam game that went on sale for $3 - finally gave the game a chance and I was surprised how much I enjoyed it.



It has both co-op and pvp. Here's me in my second ever PVP outing. Didn't do too bad despite having to learn the controls and mechanics on the go.

Kine being awesome. Slowly but surely - getting better. Run n Gun BeGone style. Top frags, multiple MVPs.

Came back from holiday. Logged on. Owned.

that's a good life

Wanted to level up my pilot XP to unlock uniforms and colours and whatnot.

Didn't do too bad but talented gunners are few and far between. Engineering kept the boat afloat nearly every single time I piloted but we rarely capitalized to down a kill.

I started playing Guns of Icarus as an Engineer but didn't enjoy the view despite being pro-efficient even from day one in-game. Couldn't shake off the feeling that pilots keep letting us down by bad decision making, putting the crew under heavy workloads and pressure by flying stupid like going into combat head on.

As a pilot that flies with engineering in mind I quickly discovered the need for highly skilled gunners. Skirting engagements at arms length meant we almost always shelled the opposition from afar and braced for ramming as we allowed them to close in while we dished out the hurt.

Pretty confident of my spatial and situational awareness so I'm fine with that tactic coz I know I can out maneuver average pilots at point blank 1 on 1. If only we could finish up and claim our kills.

Christmas wish came true. Got me a skilled gunner behind them cannons finally. We wrecked hulls and hearts today. Admittedly a novice matchup with everyone flying default configurations but I had a bot on my crew and we didn't get killed once.

Watching that I see I need to better adapt my flying to the type of weapons we have onboard. I also need to back off when no one is manning guns so we can repair. I just assume the engie is repairing so the gunners can gun, but that's not always the case.

It worked well today when azh carried chem or buff and I had extinguisher. If engies coordinate like that, we could do much better.

Also, rockets and gattlings are the best loadouts imo. Rockets have nice velocity and accuracy at range, gattlings wreck armor up close. Just need to approach from the correct side given the weapons we have.

Nubs can spew out all sorts of technical BS about flying. But every ace pilot I've flown with, against and trained will agree only 3 things matter:

1. Confidence
2. Empathy
3. Attitude

Everything else is fluff.

This is Kine on a twin gat Pyramidian. Bot Engineers. Shit dies faster if I had people manning Flame + Carronade portside.

I'm learning that the key to the pyra is to keep the enemy to the front and the guns in working condition. The balloons and hull are so hard to hurt from the front that you've very durable, but that's meaningless unless you can keep the guns up to do damage.
