LOL, state reasons as well pl0x.

I would go for finishing off your grenades. They are extremely useful for anti camping/spawn trapping and have an OP range when maxed. I would skip 100 armor unless you want to be able to rent headshot protection. I would skip the Val3 until you've completed more SP contracts (you have plenty left). I would skip Gunsmith unless you like perfectly maxed guns like me, or use weapons with built in silencers. My second choice would be to get +5 penetration in assault, but when choosing to get that, you have to look at what weapons would benefit. There isn't a huge benefit in additional penetration unless you are breaking 30,40,50, or 70. Those are the points where penetration can go through different materials. Noveske goes through all wood except the radar hut on OSM. That includes both slaughter huts and barn. When it has 40 penetration (max w/o rental of 42).

Alternatively, you could respec and lose the assault master, put those towards penetration, and still get full grenades. If you don't want maxed grenades, then i'd go for the first two mortars and get the last mortar once you have the SP. But if you are playing OSM mostly i would leave out the mortars, much more effective on Evac.

Hmm you wouldn't recommend 100 armor? I reset recently to get rid of mortars and max the other side of gunsmith (more short term benefits with SP I can earn back in the future) and my next goal was going to be max armor because I have 4 SP right now.

I mostly play EVAC.

I will play some OSM from time to time and lighthouse for fun of raping some ... "friends".

I have a lot of contracts left cuz I quit doing contracts to focus on playing the game and enjoying it rather than stressin about doing 40 knife kills ... or renting a gun to complete a GP contract.

Thanks for the input.

I will assume you are able to follow written instuctions...

once logged in, click on your "Skills" (the little plus on the left side about midway down next to your name)

Once there on the top far right click on "clans"
Then on the left click on "Rating"
Scroll down to the area around 68th. Find Creed. You can then click for the info and on the top right there will be a "Apply to Clan" button.

If none this made sense let me know and I'll add pictures Smile

Oh, thanks for pointing out the ranking of the clan cuz I was too lazy to look for it among these 12k clans. I applied.

Re: Contract Wars

Post by Third on 2014-11-26, 00:28

Some news about upcoming updates on Contract Wars:

-Weapon modifications will be added, starting with a couple of weapons at a time. Nqss has mentioned this as starting sometime around January 1st. All weapon modifications will be accessible for free, with early access to these mods costing GP. If you do not wish to pay GP, then you can level up your weapon to reach these mods. Guns that have rails will allow nearly any sight to be placed on them, but certain combinations will not be allowed due to balance. Guns without rails will be able to have rails placed on them (currently use iron sights), however, the rails will be considered a modification and will therefore take up one of the mod slots. It is assumed by some of the veterans that LMGs like the AEK and AK12 will not be able to have silencers attached to them due to balance, however, this has not been confirmed. Weapon mastery (level 31; 70,000 kills) will be very useful in weapon modifications.

-The game recode is the primary update that the Contract Wars developers are working on, this is the reason for so few updates. Nqss says that it will significantly improve Contract Wars, including being able to properly climb up and down ladders (yay!). There is no date given on this update, but it will be considered CW 2.0 (currently 1.4xx) and will be released after January 1st.

-A new map targeted towards sniper battles will be Contract Wars' largest map released to date. It will be so large that it will actually push the range ratings on sniper rifles. Upwards of 350m shots. I can't find the screenshots, but it will be two large cliffs, separated by a canyon which has a bridge connecting the two sides, it appears that snipers will be able to be on these cliffs. To be released before the game recode.

-There are currently players who have more than the maximum SP possible. When asked about this situation, Nqss said that the reason these players are not banned is because the developers feel that it was their fault that they allowed this to happen. A tool to be able to remove SP from individual accounts is in the works, and Nqss should be able to manually remove these extra SP in CW 2.0.

-For those of you who did not take advantage of Skill Specialist, the extra SP that you did not have access to will be refunded in an unknown manner at the time of CW 2.0 (or it should, this was a chat convo with Nqss).
------
Well that's it, for those who have not been playing. Hope to see you preparing for these coming updates! Get those gun levels high!
