Don't have a screenie but went 18-10 in my second game ever... The game seems filled of noobs and also pretty slow paced. Not to mention the hitboxes are wacko and the sniper zoom is hella weird. I'm still not sure if I can learn to like this game.

That is because you are playing noobs haha. The lower level maps (0-9 etc) have many facebook noobs, but as soon as you hit level 15 it gets much more difficult as players are weeded out. Level 40+ is when you get into the pretty serious players, and KD drops significantly. At level 60+, you get players who have played for months and know the secrets of every map, it gets much harder .
The sniper you tried is the poorest sniper in the game, one of ten total sniper rifles, each one has a unique scope that you can earn for it. The one you tried is useless unless you have 100 accuracy on it. There are much better sniper rifles. The EBR marksmen being the best semi-auto sniper, the ORSIS being the best bolt action, and the TKPD close behind the ORSIS. You then have the "pocket sniper", also known as the S&W Stealth Hunter Revolver. Quite a fun secondary.
If you play a little further into this game, I think you quickly find that things get much more interesting.

Better than BeGone in many ways.

I play TE because it gives you the most exp. you will find it gets much harder as you get to level 50+ where the noobs have been weeded out.

Re: Creed's Good Games (Contract Wars)
been working for headshot achievements these past 24 hours on 20-70 servers. noobs just have better weapons up there. and fucking armour + nades. p2w hell.
and these contracts / achievements / tasks are really anti-teamplay srsly.

1. enjoying the games though ... dont want people to think i hate it. it just irks me to see so few people working together in a game.
2. if we were to battle officially in CW, what game mode would it likely involve ? just curious.

- Spoiler:
here's a typical match I normally get into. under powered and always playing catching up. getting MP5SD 200 headshots achievement done hence higher death count. most times I'd be the one shooting first but ending up dying coz the damn thing wont kill an armoured target with a single magazine unless you score a couple of headshots which is tricky from range. Interestingly, even shotguns will kill me first if we dueled at a distance. Found that out when I was doing revolver achievement. Shotties OP.

Going after achievements / W-task / Contracts can screw up your KDR. Maintaining your ratio will suck out whatever fun there is to be had in the game. I happily ignore it in favor of Matches Won : Lost
Re: Creed's Good Games (Contract Wars)
Though contracts do give you lots of SP, which is going to make your account even better.

imo the movement in CW can't even be compared to the movement system of BeGone. Each game has its pluses and minuses.Kine² wrote:Ejh16 wrote:Don't have a screenie but went 18-10 in my second game ever... The game seems filled of noobs and also pretty slow paced. Yes, the movement is very different. It forces you to slow down and think about where people are going, instead of running around and finding them. Flanking has much greater importance in CW than it does in begone. I have had to think about tactics a great deal more than when I played Begone. Especially when i went against an entire team of 1337 that knew not to rush a spawn point (because it would cause the spawn to move) in TE.
I was talking to a tester recently and he said that the stereotypical "press shift to sprint" is not compatible with the infrastructure of CW. More than likely, when it is implemented it will be a skill that is purchased that increases mobility a great deal more, or something to that effect. He said that you cannot have a game that has both mobility and a sprint button without planning for it when the game was first developed.
