Went a full round no deaths, most kills. 14 killstreak when time ran out.

Got myself on a premade squad of Youtubers. They took me from level 29 all the way to 35 in one session lol. Premades are put on a separate queue in matchmaker pitting squads versus other squads only. Some are meh matches but once in a while we got to go against competitive squads. Really enjoyed those moments because the game truly plays something different then.

Anyways, video is of 2 matches back to back. One won and the other lost. I believe it's versus a competitive squad. Decent example of Overwatch played as a team game.

The 'nice attempt at that strat' explanation in next video. It's basically a current topic about flavour of the month meta game. Works well versus uncoordinated squads but not unbeatable. More on that next vid.

2-2-2 composition.

Weapons are locked to individual Heroes. So you have a rocket launcher hero, a grenade launcher hero, assault rifle hero, shotgun hero, sniper, archer, etc.

In this video I'm playing McCree, Overwatch's pistol hero. For someone who routinely practice pistol only matches in shooter games, McCree is a dream for me. Whenever I practice pistol only I would have to accept the fact that I am at a disadvantage both to myself and my team. Well ... no more.

McCree is perhaps the best all rounder Hero in Overwatch. No one really hard counters him and he's a hard counter to both enemy harassment units and tanks. Speedy heroes like Tracer and Genji, all tanks (Winston, Reinhart, Zarya), pseudo tank bullet sponge Lucio they all get raped hard by McCree if they're foolish enough to go 1 on 1 with the cowboy.

McCree's left click is the usual single pistol shot. Right click is burst fire that unloads all remaining bullets in the revolver's cylinder. His defining ability is his point blank stun grenade which is a death sentence for fast harassment units. Combat roll will instant reload his pistol which is the combo used against tanks.

Haven't really played her since open beta. Hot joined a game 1 minute before it was about to end. As per usual, losing team does what losing teams do, they blame the sniper. Totally ignoring the fact I only joined a few seconds earlier.

But they were new players so I ♪ let it go ♫
Picked Mercy, pretended the tank was Azh and went to work.

In a game where things happen so fast, healing an entire team is probably one of the more challenging roles on a team. Alot of game reading and thinking on your feet thing.

Yellow beam = heals
Blue beam = boost damage
Circle in middle bottom of my screen turns blue = Able to revive dead team mate

Mercy can also 'fly' to allies by hitting Shift if she has line of sight to them.

Made very few mistakes. First one was not checking risky openings before committing. Second mistake was too hesitant when checking openings. Third and prolly the last mistake was too committed to save a lost cause and exposing myself when multiple threats had eyes on us. If you think you spot other errors in my Mercy game let me know. I usually do well with medic classes but Mercy in Overwatch is a whole new brand of difficult.

Those who play Mercy: When to revive and when NOT to revive is a thing. Ults are rare resources. Spending Ults got to be worth it.

I saw BananaCreamMan playing with Fragger yesterday and I kind of wanted to play with Fragger again. I play him very rarely, but I did 2 games with him and got 2 godlikes. First one was on a noobserver, the 2nd one was on a minimum level 10 server. I might play him more often now.

Nothing spectacular in video, just me attempting to play the tank role on the team.

Like Azh said, not difficult to be a functional tank for your team. But I'd like to add that it takes a special kind of talent to be a badass scary as fuck tank.

Met a few Reinharts and Zaryas who absolutely destroy enemy teams on their own. Not sure how they do it. I tried as Reinhart, best I can do is kill a couple and scare off the others which is pretty good. But talented Reinharts omfg.. they walk up to the enemy then sends them all to hell in a flurry of lights and thunder.

I think if I wasn't playing Zarya and tanking that well towards the end the team would've lost. Thought that was upload worthy.

Level 80 by the end of today's session. Decent win streak, video edits of me taking or holding the winning points during team moves.

Ended today's session at 85 this time on a 3 man squad. Went full on medic for the entire time except for a couple of rounds. Video is one of them. Prolly one of the more intense match of the day.

Our 3 man went up against a full stack premade. Met them once before and these guys were good. Our own squad was on a roll and although no one said it, but I don't think we wanted the win streak to end.

Swapped out from Medic play and went damage support ie. rocket launcher Hero. Secured the win. Dude who took over as medic did a good job of surviving on his own with minimal team cover and one of our DPS guy actually can kill to save the team.

My job was to disrupt the enemy so they cannot easily initiate team moves fresh. Split them up mid move and do my best to keep them less than full health for our DPS guys to make easier kills.

Ended today's session at level 90.

Got me another legendary skin from lootboxes keeping the ratio at a solid 1 legendary per 10 levels.

Talked some guys I know into playing the random Hero game mode where you don't get to choose who you play. I spawned as the dual shotty pistol Reaper and ended the match with zero deaths.

A rare occurrence in this game.

Since no one plays Overwatch I won't explain why I did the things I did. Just know this is me repping Creed.

Defenders have the advantage on this Japan map.

Because Overwatch is a team game, there's an unhealthy trend of people rage quitting a match just before it ends if they're frustrated with their team when it doesn't look like they'll win it.

It's doubly bad when matchmaker insists on sending fresh players to replace the ones that leave with seconds left on the clock. There's literally nothing much you can do in these situations.

Most times anyway.

Hot joined a match with 30 seconds to go. Team mates fighting everywhere else except on the EV. Game goes into overtime if you have someone there pushing the cart and immediately ends in a loss when they die.

To understand the outcome of this match you have to know:

If anyone's wondering what it's about:

- Played for a squad made up of very good players
- Went on a 13 matches win streak
- Overwatch matchmaker tries to force a 50% winrate, after winning 3 matches in a row matchmaker will put you against higher rated teams playing the harder side of a map.
- But when you are The Best squad on the queue, no one is higher rated than your own team, hence the very rare 13 win streak.
- It was 13 wins because I got disconnected on the 14th match halfway which we were winning and I decided the game was telling me to fuck off so I took the hint and logged off.

Last I played on a squad like this was back when we were doing endgame shit on Warframe or those times we actually battled as a BeGone clan all those years ago.

Video is a reminder of what we were as a Clan and what we can be in DB competitive but stalled coz #reasons.

Bow and arrow Hero. I don't play him often for 2 reasons.

1. All the nubs auto pick him at start of every match.
2. 250-350 ping servers results in glitches with the weapon ie. sometimes server ignores my fully drawn shot and fires a quick shot instead which makes hitting targets almost impossible since arrow doesn't fly where it's supposed to.

Today however, the glitch didn't occur too often and allowed me to play somewhat reasonably. Wish I could play him more tho.

Deliberately edited the video to have an anti climax ending. Coz that's how I feel after today's Hanzo performance. Tomorrow the glitch is gonna be as frequent as usual and I'd be unable to play the bow and arrow hero again.

Solo team wipe with the press of a button. When people play Reaper, this is what they strive to achieve.

Played tank for a random squad. They initially wanted a medic which I did but they failed at initiating fights on attack and surviving on defense. Eventually told them I'd tank for the team instead.

Casuals are too hesitant to initiate which is frikkin frustrating to see since the team would wait for them to start fights but they never do. Or go in at all the wrong times and instantly melt which achieves nothing.

First of the 2 matches in the video is me on attack. Team was still warming up to my pace so plenty of Kine versus All tanking before the rest are convinced enough to pour in. I often find myself needing to convince people alot before they start doing work.

Second match is us on defense which is the more interesting one. Camping tactically using the Shield + Axe Hero. Almost zero death but I died literally at the last second of the match to a lucky hook.

Nothing spectacular, just gameplay vid of a class I seldom play done right. Atleast imo.
