Thought I'd play him some but the match went better than expected so I decided to put captions explaining some stuff that went on.

I do hate half the people playing this game. Alot of CSGO COD rejects who talk shit like they're a big deal. 9 out of 10 arent even good at the game.

This particular bunch in the video however were awesome people. Probably the early beta gang who seem to know each other and very laid back. We had an AFK'er on the team so that screwed things up. But instead of sulking and rage quitting, they decided to play on and fool around trying stuff out.

I took the opportunity to practice my pounces vs Nosgoth vets.

Default pounce has aim assist. If you have the target centered, a claw icon will appear and your prey will be locked on no matter how or where he moved you're gonna get him.

The higher damage variant of the pounce has no aim assist. Awesome long range 1 in 1,000 chance pounce at the end of the video.

My best killstreak so far. Not the only way to play the Reaver but this style suits me nicely.

Heard this song from Life Is Strange's Trailer. Ripped it after having found the song on Youtube and felt absolutely guilty for doing that. Went back and bought the game for $5. Story turned out to be better than I expected. Decent script and voice acting. Story well told.

zero deaths. not the first, done a few of these but this match was the one where i was more in control of the situation and ALOT less panicky without shying away from combat. Did most damage on team proof of that.

each time i get tempted to try it out again, i'm reminded why i left. 8 v 4 for nearly half the match before i remembered to check the scoreboard. promptly RQ'd lol. a simple 'auto teambalance' would already go so far in fixing this. somehow i'm guessing the russian community opinion makers lobbied to keep things the way they are. gg

nice demo on defense done well, setting up a killbox with every person taking a corner each and watching each other.

also a Kinehax bola ofc.

Ridiculous losing streak today but there were some good moments. #jedibola

Max ranked my Reaver to 25 finally, unlocking the 'Evolved' version skin. Its' badassery putting shame to the default one. Back to back MVP performances in the final half dozen matches leading up to rank 25 :

Hardest Steam achievement in Nosgoth for me.

Prophet can cast a 7s shield on his team-mates and the challenge in this achievement is to only cast it at the very last minute just before a friendly gets hit by a 'would be' killing blow.

Do that for 3 different team mates in a 4 man team.

On a single life.

As Human.

Next Evolved skin I want to unlock is the Tyrant's. Beastly looking thing but very hard to survive as. Getting better at it though specifically my 1 v 1 duels.

Clocked 100 hours of actual match time with this match.

Being put into high level games more frequently now, 15-0 stomps are but distant memories. On the upside, I get to enjoy high level quality fights where everyone on both sides know what needs to be done, when and how to do them.

Character picks, ability choices all influenced by who is on your team, what they plan to do and what needs countering. Full match footage on the game that earned me my 100 hours.

first match that i actualy did the map as intended, capture/protect the cell
when both sides have captured a cell you can't  collect the enemy cell untill yours is returned.

For the lack of better content of my own I thought I'd share someone else's. A combination of inflating my player rating too high for my own good and Devs tweaking the matchmaking has currently put me in VERY high level games. With people such as this guy ~ ESL pros and such. I'm struggling to keep up currently and hoping I could upload GG videos again lol.

This one is a live commentary where he shares his thought process as he plays. Just the type of videos I like watching. A nice inside look. It also reveals what I like most about Nosgoth. The reversal of priority skill sets.

Aim accuracy, reflex rank high in other shooter games with positioning and judgement only serves to make someone a well rounded player. In Nosgoth the priority is reversed. Empathy; your ability to read enemies as well as own team mates, ranks highest. This steers your judgement on where to be, where not to be, where you want to put your enemies and such.

For someone like me, this change in focus is truly appealing. It sets new challenges on things to be good at instead of continuing to be good at the same ol' thing. Highly recommend watching this video even if you don't play Nosgoth. An inside look into the thoughts of another pro as he plays anything is always a good thing.

In your opinion, what makes him so good? He basically just stood at a distance and let his teammates take all the risk while he ksed or picked off the players with low health. Or am I missing something?
