Insurgency is certainly a game that feels better the more you play it. I even dare admit one that slowly became my 1st choice first person shooter once I went past the initial ... this game feels weird phase.

The one and only advantage CS:GO has over Insurgency is the competitive team gameplay which the eSports scene owes alot to.

But if you don't play CS as part of a team or clan, pubbing the competitive game mode is 50-50. Sometimes you get wonderful team mates sometimes you get infuriating ones.

This is where Insurgency shines. Pub matches play out much much better than any other shooter games out there. Despite being an objective based game .. the game format just naturally move individuals around as a team.

Incidentally ... this video montage shows off different ways of playing the game which I initially didn't think was possible given how easy it is to die when I first started playing. Always assumed it was some kind of realism mod one shot one kill thing. But once you're better at reading how matches play out, you get more options on what to do on the field.

Good siege match. Randoms were active on mic which made it fun.

yeah time to play insurgency with creedlings again. I always enjoyed our rounds....and botys nades....

When a single bullet can potentially kill you this is about as fast paced as you can afford when playing at zer0 risk. Which is not fast.

Big update today. New map. New weapons. Same camp.

Starting a whole new theme revolving around me camping the fuck out of Insurgency.

There are obnoxiously ignorant players and then there are stupid servers when it comes to 'lag'.

This one didn't let me to continue my camping theme by threatening me with a countdown before Server Kick so I had to rush it. Won the round for the team in record time and then ... booted lol.

FU too. Thank god for blacklisting servers feature.

Watching Boty's video reminded me that I haven't done my zero death games in a long while. Mainly because I've been doing Insurgency non stop and it's rather hard to stay alive in that game.

It's impossible for me to get a 0 death game.

Reminds me of my Sparks video. Almost no kills-death and still came up MVP.

Second time playing execution game mode, first time on the new map Overground. Played Aura and tried to be as useful as I can off the gun.

Ricky doesn't like the new mode but it's all the same tbh. Only this time, no respawn and much simpler objectives.

Agreed. It slows down the gameplay and the xp....I get like 7000 in the whole game.
In a stopwatch game I would´ve earned twice as much xp and credits.
But now those stupid missions force me to play it.....

Hoped for a cool or funny or awesome clip with the Phantom but it just ended up being another spawn camp. Godlike again tho so I got atleast that.

Dude freaks out after our team gets wiped in round one with zero kills. Predictably, everyone camps near base in the second round and they all die. Except, Kine clutches a win with 1% HP. The gang stayed positive after that and we won the match against a stronger team imo.
