Played a couple matches yesterday against uber pro sharks. Won't be uploading those however because there isn't anything to see. Literally nothing to see. Sharks were so fast and accurate you don't see them come in. You don't see them bite one of your team. You don't see them leave. Just a sonar blip one time, a choking gurgle of pain, blood trail in the water then darkness.
Then the sonar blips one more time and you're floating there wondering is it my turn now ?
Educational matches for sure. Fun, horrifying but fun. It's like that Jurassic Park scene where Velociraptors were kidnapping people one by one into bushes in the dark. I was in awe up until my death.
Sharks in this video however weren't as pro. Good but slow enough we could see them and shoot back. Diver team were down 3 lives to 13 at one point and we managed to fight back down to a 1v1 holding open water.

Learnt from the pro's ... swoop in and out like raptors. Accuracy needs work. Got the killstreak steam achievement for it so not too bad.

It took awhile but I've finally made the leap from newbie shark to scary shark.
Veteran divers can locate then hunt down sharks quite effectively turning the hunter into prey. Or put up a tight defense against above average sharks at the least. It's a good sign you've graduated to scary shark when these things only serves as a hindrance and not a road block to winning.
Here's a video of my best shark match to date. Condensing a 13 minute match into a 5 minute highlight made it look easier than it actually was though. Speed and accuracy is well up there. In and out unseen rarely missing divers or the exit. Also made it as near impossible for the 2 pro's on that team to hunt me down as I could.
The challenge was my bot team-mate. Whenever someone disconnects, the game replaces them with a bot. Generally a bot diver is preferable over a bot shark since bot divers can see in the dark. Bot sharks on the other hand only uses up your limited pool of team respawns. Fine if it can trade 1 for 1 kills. But against good divers that's a lot to ask from a AI.
So I made sure to distract atleast some of the divers when my AI buddy goes leroy. Still came down to a 1 v 4 at the end with the diver's objective coming real close to ending the match. You'll see me hitting it alot at the end in an attempt to stall it from crossing the finishing line before I can dispatch the survivors.
My heart was beating so hard that match ...

Most boring 5 minute youtube video 2016 but it was such a heart pounding experience I had to upload it.
Same shit over and over today. Shark team-mate gets owned by pro divers and leaves me paired up with a bot shark mid game. Not sure if divers were premade or not but they were disciplined and knew how to hunt down sharks. Did my best to trade respawns down 1 kill for 1 kill but the bot team mate handicap was real.
It came down to my 1 life versus 7 for the divers. Had to kill divers 7 times; one of whom is a pro diver, without dying myself. To make it even more interesting I was doing Hammerhead shark.
Hammerhead has the lowest bite damage of all the shark types but it has an interesting perk, Slam damage. This shark deals extra hurt if you knock on solid surface while biting a diver down thus compensating the toothless bite attack.
Except now, I'm in open water with hardly any solid surfaces for options. Angle of attack baby ... its all about the approach now.
Question is ... do you believe in the Kine ?
Will Kine disappoint Creed or am I worthy ?

The Hammerhead looks pretty cool. The gameplay somehow made me think about Skyrim where you also had to crouch around with a bow and then quickly attack someone...cool game

This is probably my fav Creed comp game. It was one of the few games where we really showed teamwork and effort, was a bit unlucky that it turned out to be a

1. Terminal's Machinegun balcony is a key location be it on offense or defense.
- it's what provides the crossfire on that open space.
- crossfire on defenders trying to push into generator room
- crossfire on attackers trying to take forward spawn or plant c4
It's hard to take but once gotten easy to hold given the cramped chokepoints.
From the video you can clearly see they stopped pressuring C4 whenever Creed takes balcony. What's baffling is why you guys keep donating the balcony back to them once you've got it.
Send however many you need to get balcony but once you have it, atleast 1 person must keep the spot. A good sign of a team defending Terminal well is when 50% of radio chatter is talking about either taking balcony or keeping it.
2. Always threaten to spawn lock attackers on Terminal.
- That map's biggest imbalance is how easy to keep attackers locked in spawn once you've done it the first time.
- You do this by shutting down escalator tunnel swiftly followed up by a thorough lock down of the street on the other side of the building.
2-3 split is the low risk high reward strategy for defenders.
2 guys fight to plant c4 in escalator gen room.
3 guys pressure the stairs / street from balcony alley denying the enemy from entering the building from the outside funneling them to use the escalator chokepoint instead.
It is low risk because the 2 guys you have in the gen room is more likely to die than your 3 on alley. If or when that happens the 3 guys simply fall back to balcony to deny attackers from planting c4.
It is high reward because should you manage to shut down escalator, attackers are essentially fucked. Defenders can box them in at street side from all angles on high ground.
Again, this is only doable assuming you had balcony to push out from in the first place which is why that location is key.
In pub matches we routinely try to spawn lock attackers from match start. In comp games it is usually done after a successful team wipe. 2 guys quickly plants c4 in escalator and 3 guys ambush the street.

Gothic Armada is presumably based on Games Workshop's Man O' War tabletop. Which incidentally is getting a PC port itself with an April 2016 EA launch..
Battlefleet Gothic: Armada is a top down RTS where you control a small fleet of fishies shooting other space fishies. Great when you're living on internets with quota.

I just noticed on that last game that no matter how many times i watch it , I count 3 deaths. However my KD at the end is 5/4.
This is the second time I notice that it doesn't register kills/deaths correctly

Is your 3 deaths including the one where you got revived ? That could have counted towards the death tally.
